Oil and gas discoveries are said to be made because of clever geologists. That may very well be true. But we should not underestimate the importance of technology. Offshore exploration is in particular dependent on geophysical methods for making and appraising discoveries. We now also clearly see that improvements in technology play a larger part in exploration.
It will be two days with presentations which highligt recent advances in exploration technology.

Exhibit at the NCS Prospect Fair
The secong prospect fair in Norway will take place in May, titled ”NCS Prospect Fair & Exhibition 2015”.
Oil companies is given the opportunity to present prospects where they would like so share risk, or want to farm-out of, partly or fully. Service-compaies will get the opportunity to share prospects defined by seismic- and EM-data.
